Fat Tires are the ultimate in traction- thus the conditions and terrains you can go over are greatly expanded! As well as extending this sport thru the Winter months- and that also is timed well to take advantage of when the dogs have the most energy- when its cool outside! These 20" dia. wheels/fat tires also are the ultimate in scooter stability on any type of terrain (snow, gravel, loose dirt, mud, crud, etc) , including dry pavement! This extra traction also adds stability when you have multiple strong fast dogs on board! The only penalty is slightly more rolling resistance (in the softer material they actually roll easier) and a bit of a humming noise on pavement, which comes in handy as a warning when you approach pedestrians from the rear, LOL. The wheelbase (axle to axle) is also 2" longer than the standard usa scooter and the footplate 2" wider (8"). The ground clearance is also increased a little- but still comfortable for kicking.
Weight capacity is 300 lbs.
In the photo you can see how the 2 point clipin allows the dogs to support the scooter vertically and allows the scooter to support the dog/dogs (side to side and vertically).
Dog on each side config. shown- this is best beginner 2 dog setup since its so stable and easy to ride.
Dog on each side config.
and adjustible width outrigger bar upgrade shown.
The scooter itself is $1100 (shipping is extra)
with STRONG BRAKES (via 180 mm rotors! )
The Complete bolt-on dog pulling system (includes adj. harness) is $235 each.
Includes the Fixed Width Outrigger Bar which is designed for dogs 80-120 lbs (it will fit smaller dogs BUT be wider than you need- and narrower is better in constricted areas (busy sidewalks and single track trails)
The upgrade to the Adjustible Width Outrigger Bar is $40 and fits all dogs to only the width necessary.
Best when you need to be narrow- for instance busy sidewalks and or single track trails. Its a bit more advanced riding but still easy since that 2 point clipin allows the dogs to support the scooter.
This option is included with all 2 dog or 2nd dog add on systems.
Final production color is Light Grey w/ Black Fork
Custom colors available IF your timing is right (just before we take the frames to the powder coaters) cost for any standard color is around $80 extra.
The steel frames are made and powder coated locally, the wheels are now conventional spokes and all the other parts (including the cable disc brakes) are typical bicycle parts sourced from bicycle parts wholesalers here in the usa. The rider weight capacity is 300 lbs. the weight is approx. 45 lbs with a single dog pulling system attached. the wheelbase is longer than most scooters- this adds stability. And the ground clearance is comfortable for kicking yet adequate for moderate off road use.. And the footplate is level to the ground. It has front and rear splash guards as well as wheelcovers. Footplate width is 6 1/2". Wheels are 20" BMX style with a moderately aggressive tire tread for on and off road. The handlebar is vertically adjustible and well as angle adjustible.
Can handle up to 3 big dogs- and 4 small dogs.
Weight capacity is 300 lbs.

Does on or moderate off road well. Can handle up to 3 powerful big dogs- and a 4th if the dogs are smaller.
We are now using conventional spoked wheels instead of the moulded plastic wheels shown, due to quality issues.
Its included with all 2 dog systems and the best beginner setup for 2 dogs since its so stable and easy to ride- can do some packed snow, shallow powder snow and other moderately loose material.
This is more advanced riding but still pretty easy since that 2 point clipin allows the dogs to support the scooter vertically. Its my favorite and best in constricted areas like busy sidewalks and single track trails.
Its included in all 2 dog (or 2nd dog add on) systems purchased.
The right side is best for inline since the dogs are away from oncomming traffic on a sidewalk and away from cars on a bike lane. This also allows you to keep the dogs on the grass/dirt on the right side of a sidewalk while the wheels can stay on the pavement for easy rolling.
A decent quality conventional kickscooter appropriate for a single dog
(not multiple dogs) with a 26" front wheel and a 20" dia. rear wheel. The tires are 1 1/2" wide street oriented tread. But for better safety and performance for all surface conditions i recommend a set of wider more aggressive tires at $50 for the upgrade. The wheelbase is 48" long (axle to axle and thats relatively long for a conventional scooter) and the longer the wheelbase generally the more stable and better tracking the scooter is. The larger front wheel also adds a bit more steering stability (not as twitchy) and also rolls over bumps a bit smoother. Its a fairly light scooter with a rider MAX weight rating of 200 lbs. The stock handlebars are junk (way to swept back) so i add a more appropriate handlebar as well as a new set of grips. i also shorten the brake cables to match the new appropriate handlebars. The brakes are standard low end bicycle brakes (called V-brakes) which have adequate braking for a single high drive dog attached. Fenders are included.
The only 2 weaknesses i see is the exposed rear brake cable on the left side of the lower frame- this could be an issue IF you ride a lot on narrow single track trails- and that rear brake cable requires a bit more hand strength to operate. I do make the new footplate, which wider than the stock one, inorder to overhang on that left side and protect that exposed cable from the side (NOT from the bottom though). And a wider footplate is always nice to have.
Price is $425.00 for the scooter alone. And only comes in a WHITE , GREY (add $35 may change ofer time) and BLUE (add $20 may change ofer time) color .
Includes upgrade to flat handlebar, brake cable shortened, and new grips.
The Complete bolt-on dog pulling system (includes adj. harness) is $290 and shipped (from me here in Oregon) in the same package as the scooter.
Includes the Adjustible Width Outrigger Bar which fits all dogs to only the width necessary and it makes adjusting the tension on the rigging fast and accurate. the Adj. outrigger bar also makes it fast narrowing up the system to fit thru tight places, then extending it back out to continue.
I do recommend the tire upgrade if you want to do any off road. ($48 for the wider more ago tread tires that are mounted- i send the stock tires off the rims to you in the box)
This is a decent quality Taiwanese kick scooter and fine for a single medium size dog. I do not recommend it for multiple dogs.
Brakes are the standard V-brake you see on most low end bicycles- they do have the power to lockup the wheels but not as accurate in modulating the braking power as the disc brakes are.
Tire upgrade to the Kenda K-Rad, 2" wide, more agro tread tires is $48 and allows the Willy to do some moderate off road.
The scooter itself is $425 (shipping is included)
The Complete bolt-on dog pulling system (includes adj. harness) is $290 each (shipping is extra)
Includes the Adjustible Width Outrigger Bar which fits all dogs to only the width necessary
Tire upgrade recommend ($48) for the wider more agro tread 2.0" wide tires)
For those that can't ride a scooter and or want to use the trike for their own riding (without dogs) often, the Dogpowered Trike is the solution. (these are the recumbent "TADPOLE" trikes with 2 wheels in the front)
I DO NOT SELL THE TRIKES - you have to get those from others. I recommend a local trike dealer for the best service.
I can't fit all of the trikes, just 4-5 of them such as some of these brands- OLDER CAT, TRIDENT, SUN, TERRATRIKE, and TI-TRIKES
I also recommend an upgrade to a wider tire and or a "fat tire" model if you want to do ANY off road.
$340 for the complete dog pulling system (shipping is extra)
Includes the Adjustible Width Outrigger Bar which fits all dogs to only the width necessary.
Shipping is extra.
I can usually fit most any good quality scooter (with good brakes and at least 16" dia wheels). Longer wheelbase and 2 frame tubes under the footplate are best. IF i don't think its a safe scooter I can't make a system for it.
There is a $40 Custom Fit Fee on top of the $260. And shipping is extra.

The 2" wide Nylon Harness is adjustible on every strap and sent larger than you need- thus you adjust it to fit at home, then cut the excess webbing off at every buckle/slider. Leave long tails at each buckle/slider if your dog is young, then you can let it out as they grow. BUT its not fast adjusting it for a dog of a different size since the webbing is tight as it goes thru each buckle/slider. Extra harnesses are $45 ea..
I do take returns within the first 30 days.
Refunds will exclude the original shipping costs.
Deductions will be made for any cosmetic or serious damage
There is a $50 unpacking, examination, cleaning and restocking fee for returns- exceptions are made for any defective items.
